HOLINESS POPE'S JOURNALISTS SOLIDARITY

P. Walter Moschetti published by the Journal's Capital City Rosario,
the April 16, 2005

From time immemorial the Apostolic See intends to imitation, veneration and invocation of some Christians who stood by his virtues.
The question of the sanctity of the Pope points to the root of the essence of Christianity. We are all called to holiness: "Be perfect as My Father is perfect" (Mt 5.48). Throughout the history of the church, thousands of men and women, children and elderly have been launched to the conquest of this grace and today we are blessed to have as many witnesses as exemplified sure we can follow.
In the Apostolic Letter Novo Millennio Ineunte "Pope John Paul II invited to put "the April 16 2005programación pastoral in the sign of holiness", to "express the belief that Baptism is a true entry into the holiness of God through incorporation into Christ and the indwelling of the Spirit would be a contradiction to a life of mediocrity, marked by a minimalist ethic and a shallow religiosity ... It is time to re-propose wholeheartedly to everyone this high standard "of ordinary Christian living: the whole life of the ecclesial community and Christian families must lead in this direction "(No. 31).
The Second Vatican Council recalled that "all Christians of whatever rank or status, are called to the fullness of Christian life and perfection of charity "(Lumen Gentium, 40). Specifically, the way forward for every believer to become a saint is faithfulness to God's will as expressed to us his word, commandments, and the inspirations of the Holy Spirit. As for Mary and all saints, for us the perfection of charity is on a faithful, following the example of Jesus in the Father's hands. Again, this is possible thanks to the Holy Spirit, that even in difficult times makes us repeat with Jesus: "Behold, I come to do your will!" (Heb 10.7). We all know
of human fulfillment that lived during his life, Pope John Paul II. This man who in his youth understood asceticism, rather than a pruning of pleasures, like a graft of duties. And he combined beautifully contemplation to action.
Before forming at the seminar had been formed in the quarry. Before outlining the priest had shaped the man. In Karol Wojtyla see the friend, the sportsman, the writer, the autodidact, the poet, the artist, the humanist and finally the priest, the bishop, the pope.
This figure is so close to our lives is a testament to that holiness is not lived in the stratosphere. The possibility of receiving God gives man a new significance, the contact him. The man will never cease to seem like a deep mystery at the bottom of this mystery is God. The vocation to dialogue
John Paul II was an expression of love of neighbor. Julian Marias has said that "all dialogue is awaiting a response." And this is essential listening. This was precisely one of the characteristics of Wojtyla. True dialogue is one in which the self takes place in the You and involves a genuine act of love of neighbor. Only then could John Paul II perform a magnificent work of the apostolate, in a hostile environment, looking at his adversary to a potential friend.
His multifaceted personality makes it accessible everyone. Knows how to listen attentively to their partners, peace and confidence inspiring for its plain and unsophisticated style. It was fascinating for those who treated him and admired him for his intellectual gifts, for the passion with which assimilated the pain of the persecuted and their unconditional loyalty to his friends really.
And this is the whole man adhered completely to God personally. Lived, grew and persevered to the end in faith nourished in the Word of God, lived in charity, held in hope and faith rooted in the Church.
John Paul II lived the fullness of new life that we are made "partakers of the divine nature" (2 Peter 1.4). Intimating lived with God in imitation of Christ poor, chaste and humble. Was your life a gift to the true good. Responded generously to the call of Jesus to build His kingdom, and lived in the humility of a servant who becomes the last of all (Cfr.Mt.20 ,25-27).
This has been first and foremost a gift of the Spirit who justifies and sanctifies us like the Son and puts us in a filial relationship with the Father. Is the presence of the Holy Spirit to work a real transformation and intimately influences in man: the sanctifying or deifying grace, which elevates our being and our actions, enabling us to live in relationship with the Holy Trinity.
Will John Paul II to the altars? His reputation for holiness is present in the hearts of their children. And many people to grasp the greatness of his life and his works are admired for the greatness of this man of God. It will play the Church
confirm the testimony of holiness that we left the Pope, who in his spiritual legacy gave us the example of living faith consistently inserted in life, living the normal holiness of the man who believes and lives the faith professes. The man who, to the experiences of evil and suffering, injustice and death did not waver in their faith, they believed, "hoping against hope" (Rom 4, 18) and in the midst of pain she saw the light Paschal mercy that rescues and saves the man, making enter into the fullness of life full of joy and peace.
