COMMUNICATORS
There is a reality that identifies us: we are Christians. From this experience of faith we exercise our duty of journalists, participants in the task of evangelization of the Church.
In light of the figure of St. Paul the Apostle-communicator, whom we celebrate the two thousandth anniversary of his birth, we see our mission and reflect on her to be faithful to our vocation.
The Christian life begins with an experience of encounter. In the way of life and our own personal history, God is present, inviting, enticing, engaging ...
Paul's conversion, as recounted in the Acts (from 9.1 to 19) shows the transforming reality of an experience that will radically change the life of Saul of Tarsus, a persecutor of Christians, to become the Apostle to the Gentiles. Blindness which was seen to shine, by faith, a new light.
Jesus called him to share his mission. Paul himself recognized this mission as a vocation: "... chosen to proclaim the Good News" (Rom 1.1).
us are also urged by the Lord's command: "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15). And to fulfill this order means we have more than that was Paul. Today's letters, preaching, travel-methods used by the Apósotol to evangelize, we make easy, fast, attractive and influential through the use of powerful means of social communication, and we have received gifts, talents, skills that enable us to approach the man Today the message of Jesus Christ with the language and the modern means by which we communicate today. They are gifts that the Holy Spirit distributes, as taught to us by the Apostle: "The Spirit gives one the wisdom to speak, to another to teach science. To him the gift of healing, one the gift of prophecy, to another the gift of tongues ... "(cf. 1 Cor 12, 8ff). Not forgetting of course, that the most precious gift that we hope is the gift of love ... because I am nothing without love. (Cf. 1 Cor 13).
From our unique way of communicating will depend on the proclaimed word, written or planned to take place in the heart of man. Our straightforward language, clear, dynamic, tailored to the audience or audience, it shall make the Lord's message to those to whom they are contacted. Clearly
St. Paul says: "If I were to see them and spoke with an incomprehensible language, what would be gained if my word will not furnish or revelation, or knowledge or prophecy or teaching? The same will happen with the musical instruments, eg the flute or the harp. If the notes do not sound distinctly, no one recognizes what is running. For if the trumpet makes a sound confusing, who is scheduled to ship combat?. That happens to you: if they speak in an intelligible, how will understand what they say? Would be talking in vain. If I do not know the meaning of words, be like a stranger to me and he will speak for me "(1 Cor 14.6 to 11).
We received a mandate. Our ministry is a vocation. We were called by Jesus and the Church sent us this mission. Today feel deep in the heart that have been chosen and trained to perform this task. The Church confirmed This divine choice, encouraging and giving us the place we have, to spread with dignity and competence to the Word of God through what we write, say or show.
Our hard, committed and passionate mission will require a thorough knowledge of the reality that we must proclaim the Gospel, which we imbue with Gospel values. Our changing culture requires us to be aware of situations that appear to respond from our faith. We can not live for a spiritualism that isolate us, but, with steadfast in the Lord we are to walk firmly the realities of the world, critical thinking and comprehension skills, tolerance and dialogue.
This is the zeal that prompted Paul's mission: "As I became a free slave of all, to win as many as possible. I became a Jew to win Jews to the Jews, I went to the law in order to win those who are subject to the law and I became weak with the weak, to win the weak. I did everything to everyone, to win at least some, at any price "(1 Cor 9, 19-22).
Because it is so important our task-mission received from the Lord and encouraged by the Church can not communicate in any way. We aspire to excellence in Catholic communications. Our style of communication should be exemplary. They show the dignity and richness of the Word of God.
"Try to be a model for creating them, in conversation, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. Not ruin the spiritual gift within you. Watch your behavior and your doctrine. Works well if you will save yourself and save to listen to you "(cf. 1 Tim 4.12 to 16).
why we have to look every day to enable us to properly use the word, writing, image and even new technologies. The Catholic community must be technically qualified for this task that requires constant creativity in the service of the Kingdom. We generate original ideas, entertaining, able to reach the heart of our party and transform your life with the quickening power of the Gospel. The younger should seek to achieve a university or tertiary qualifications in this field. We lack dedicated professionals to live this apostolate with conviction, consistency and professional quality. We often lack the necessary cunning of Jesus speaking to challenge to evangelism.
course, not enough technical training. Not only must you acquire a good language, have a good voice, write correctly or display properly in the media. You have to have something to say. Hence, it is so important doctrinal training. And this is a training permanent. Today, not enough to have done a Bible course, or seminar of catechesis, or even be a professor of theology ... Every day we read, study, investigate, to "give reasons for our faith," as Saint Paul tells us. We support the truth we proclaim. The Church in its long tradition has developed numerous magisterial documents argue its dogmas and moral. We must always go to those sources. We can not be "opinólogos" as many in the media. Each issue we try to be treated with responsibility, because we are committed to the truth.
In exercising our task, we are putting the spotlight on our light, the light of Jesus. They are our good works that should shine so that men may believe to see us act, "and taught us the same Jesus. But how hard is it to be so exposed in the media, glass transformed the world today, without overpowering the one who is the true Light.
"We are the fragrance of Christ for God" (2 Cor 13:15)
A sin in which we can fall as journalists is the lack of humility. "Appear" in an environment puts us in a prominent place. We are not always prepared for this public display. Thus, humility moderates the appetite we have to excel, counter arrogance, pride, vanity. If we are not aware, as John the Baptist that we are only the voice of who is the Word, we enceguecerán the applause and compliments you often receive from our partners. It is true that encourages our job to know that our receivers receive our welcome message, but it is always the risk of wanting to "appear." There would be fruitless our apostolate and evangelization would be incomplete or you will see us and not Jesus Christ, even running the risk of accommodating the message to "save face" with whom we hear or read.
Paul gives the example: "When I visited to announce the mystery of God, did not get the prestige of eloquence or wisdom. On the contrary, I did not know anything outside of Jesus Christ and him crucified. So, I stood before you weak, fearful and hesitant. My message and my preaching had nothing of the argument presuasiva of human wisdom, but they were demonstrating the power of the Spirit, so that you do not base their faith in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God "(1 Cor 2, 1-5)
This reflection makes us conclude that only the Holy evangelize, for the real announcement is to be made by word and example. Think
our identity as Catholic communicators is to think of our unique way of holiness, that St. Paul draws on a text which is real life program for the communicator Catholic:
"Bless those who persecute you, bless and curse not ever. Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who mourn. Live in harmony with one another, are unwilling to stand, please call up to the humblest. Presumed not wise. Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Do not be overcome by evil. On the contrary, overcome evil by doing good "(Rom 12, 14-18.21)
This is the path of constant conversion which must be. The Catholic community is a being animated by the Spirit "(cf. Rom 8.9) that is modeled in this world ... but inside lives transformed by renewing their minds to discern is the will of God, which is good, what pleases and perfect (Rom crf. 12.2). Therefore should be examined to see if it is in the true faith, put to the test seriously (cf. 2 Cor. 13.5). And throw decidedly toward the goal to win the prize of the heavenly calling that God has done in Christ Jesus (Phil. 3.12 to 16)
Our mission is therefore a necessity: "Woe to me if I preach the Gospel! "(1 Cor 9.16), but because of it we have to suffer ridicule, misunderstanding, persecution or even death. Ironically these were the motives of Paul's boast, "...¿ they ministers of Christ? Again I speak as a fool, I am more than them. Much more work, more for the times that I was a prisoner, much more from the beating I received. Often I was close to death, I have been beaten five times by the Jews thirty-nine shots, three times was scourged, once I was stoned, shipwrecked three times, and spent a day and a night in the middle of the sea. In my many travels, I spent dangers in rivers, dangers from robbers, danger from my fellow (...), tired and weary, sleepless nights, hunger and thirst, frequent fasting, cold and nakedness (... .) If there is something to boast about something, I will glory in my infirmities "(cf. 2 Cor 11.23 to 30).
But all this, Paul does not support for the minor disappointment: "If our Gospel is still impenetrable, it is only for those who are perishing, to unbelievers, whom the god of this world has blinded the understanding. For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and we are not only servers ... Because the same God who said, 'shines light in darkness', is what made her shine light in our hearts to shine the knowledge of the glory of God, reflected in the face of Christ "(2 Cor4, 3-6).
This prophecy of hope must burn in the heart of the community and not stop it. Given the anxiety they generate so much evil present in the world, we can not silence the Good News that has captured our life ... But as this good news is opposed by the calamities that announce only destruction and death, we wear the armor of the Christian, to continue our work with enthusiasm, conviction and joy.
"Finally, be strong in the Lord with the strength of his power. Put on the armor of God, to withstand the wiles of the devil. For our struggle is not against enemies of flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of this dark world and against evil spirits that inhabit the space.
Therefore, take the armor of God, to withstand in the evil day and to stand after having overcome all obstacles. Stand up, girded with the belt of truth and wearing the breastplate of righteousness. Fit your feet with the zeal for spreading the Good News of peace. Always have the shield of faith, with which they can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God "(Eph. 4.10 to 17) .-

COMMUNICATION AND SPIRITUALITY - Notes for dialogue and
Spirituality in the Christian life is the movement of love that the Holy Spirit instills in us. Should not be construed so as a purely subjective point Christian life, as a set of private practices, or as a purely intimate encounter with God. Bifet Esquerda
tells us: "It is not simply spiritual inwardness, but a path of true freedom that goes through the heart of man and that addresses the reality of man and of his personal history and community" (Theology of Evangelization , Madrid 1995, p.368).
That spiritual dynamism can be lived in moments of meditation and private prayer, but also in external activity. Paul's spirituality is expressed as a "walk in the Spirit" (Rom 8 4) that transforms the options, activity, human relationships.
For the Catholic communities, embedded in the social media world faces everyday so the multifaceted reality that challenges and to which should give a response of faith, live performance of their spirituality in dedication to God and others the evangelizing action which has been called.
For example, if the intimate contemplation we stopped in the Word of God, we leave to meet with her when illuminated by it preach or interpret reality. There, our encounter with the Word is opened to new dimensions, welcomes the questions that spring from the pastoral experience, appears, expands, becomes more concrete, producing a fruit mature.
The communicator has every opportunity to deepen their spiritual life through the contemplative activity that requires action in the mission. Full testimony can be an active contemplation. His spiritual life means from incarnational dynamic that the Spirit works. All spiritual dynamism will have this orientation embodied in the story where God belongs. Therefore, to discern the authenticity and intensity of our love for God, we need to see how far we have been involved in loving relationships with siblings and therefore in the mundane.
Here are some specific aspects of the spirituality of the communicator, which is marked by the notes themselves its mission:
1. An image of Jesus
The Jesus that stands in prayer is the Jesus, perfect communicator, who teaches in parables (Mt13, 3; Mc.4, 33), which explains the word in private to the apostles ( Mc.4, 34), speaks with authority (Mt.7, 29; Mc.1, 22), speaking in public without fear, openly (Jn.18, 20, from 7.25 to 26, 7, 45-46) ... In that prayer and contemplation the communicator feels driven in his mission. No prayer will draw strength primarily for their work, receive light to speak properly, or rest after strenuous work. If so, their spiritual life would be outside its mission. On the contrary, in personal prayer he springs the desire, like a fire that can not switch off, go and proclaim the Word, to bring to reality the values in the Gospel Jesus offers.
2.
floor to give way, the word is central to the spirituality of the communicator, but the centrality of the Word in their spirituality is lived as much in personal prayer and in the microphone, in writing or in front of a television camera. By transmitting the Word is being left untouched by it and is grateful for the gift of the Word, is expressing his love and experience it.
The Catholic community feels very assiduously urged to deal with the Word because without it the task of evangelization is impossible.
3. Presence of those faces
Intercession in personal prayer and the celebration of the Eucharist, is part of the essence of spirituality of the communicator. When going to Mass and Communion approaches, does not live a purely intimate encounter with Christ. There may not be incorporated into this meeting to all faces, often suffering of so many men and women who were part of his chronicles.
4. Patience and openness to the mystery of the Kingdom
seeds are germinating in the middle of the weeds (cf. Mt.13 ,24-30) in a mysterious way, you can not always be rushed or measured with external criteria. This conviction should be seared by the communicator. Is the resignation to take under one's control what God does in people in their own way and their times inscrutable.
5. Truth cult
The communicator acts motivated by the dynamism of the Spirit is permanently oriented to the Truth revealed. Avoid preaching to himself, or locked into a particular mindset or a few ideas that appeal. From this attitude will be a permanent form of deeper meaning-and purpose-of this word, in order to communicate to people.
6. In communion
In his letter Novo Millennio Ineunte, particularly John Paul II asked Christians to be educated in a "spirituality of communion "(n.43). That communion
communication flows that expressed. Therefore, communicators are called to be in the Church and world instruments, craftsmen, builders, promoters of communion.
we stop at this point particularly, because it is one of the most important communication of all true Catholic and communication. Bishop Juan Luis Ysern
has spoken often of the "meeting of cultures", meaning communion as "task and continuous process whose level and reach the ultimate state and live in Heaven, in full communion with God and with brothers and whose dimension is the task of every human person. "
As pedagogy to achieve that and fraternal coexistence of true communication, offers a variety of needs including:
1. Need to learn to listen
2. Need to learn to take the place of another
3. Need to learn to identify those who have no voice
4. Need to learn to encourage each person's role
5. Need to learn to discover what is positive in reality
6. Need to learn to discover the causes of marginalization and promote their elimination.
7. Need to learn to walk with creativity
In the task of evangelizing all, and the particular mission Catholic community, has announced an opposite message often highly sounding voices in the media culture raises the question of "how to" post, transmit and communicate the ever-present truth of the Gospel.
Obviously this is a pastoral question, but rather raised a spiritual issue.
The concern of how, even art, should be incorporated in the spiritual attitude that is to respond creatively to the love of God and love our neighbor with all our capabilities.
neglect the quality of communication and its products, can indicate a low passion for others and for the Word of God.
Let us now, by way of example and testimony, the heart of the communicator, in the person of St. Paul.
Every time we read the letters of Paul, we are surprised by the force of his words. This effect is probably due to the mystery of divine inspiration, but also the fact that Paul has left to fill the heart.
This is the path of spirituality as a communicator.
strength, inner freedom, the penetration of its pages reveal how much was used to fund what he said and how it is lavished with a deep and moving spiritual wealth.
There is a passage from the Second Letter to the Corinthians in which the internal life of the Apostle reveals tenderness sorprendente.
Paul means that he has never been false, he has not hidden anything, he has said all he had in his heart.
is the heart of the Corinthians who must be blamed, it is they who have not understood by the meanness of his heart.
is a strong rebuke, but full of tenderness:
"Páguennos the same coin, I tell them as children, and you also widen the heart"
is a beautiful definition of love: love is living on the other and in your own home. So we talk about parent-child relationship.
Chapter 7 of the same letter, he takes the image of living on the other: "Give us a place in his heart" (V.2) "And do not say this to condemn, as I have said that within the heart we share life and death" (v.3)
could not be more highly expressed in the fusion of hearts communication the Word of God has created.
If the second to the Corinthians is the most tumultuous of the letters of Paul, the richest in the affections and passions, the Letter to the Philippians is a warm, friendly and joyful.
are different aspects of speaking from the heart, heart, heart, which must characterize the communication of faith in Christian experience.
root communicator spirituality is embodied in reality to see, judge and acted upon accordingly.
A highly profitable scheme is offered by Msgr Ysern when he proposes to see, judge and act on these aspects of the communicator as detailed quote:
1 .- SEE
The first step of the process is to "see" what is happening and even what is to come. See reality as objectively as possible, including, as far as possible, what we see coming.
But speaking of reality is absolutely necessary not to forget what Pope Benedict XVI said in his opening speech of the V Conference of Latin American and Caribbean Bishops in Aparecida. Pope said: "What is this" reality "? What is real? Are they "really" only material goods, social, economic and political? This was precisely the great error of the dominant tendencies of the last century, destructive error as shown by the results of both Marxist and systems of the capitalists. Falsify the notion of reality by detaching it from reality foundational and decisive, which is God. Which excludes God from his horizons falsifies the notion of "reality" and therefore, can only end in blind alleys or with recipes for destruction. - The first assertion is fundamental, therefore the following: Only those who know God know reality and can respond to it adequately and truly human. (DI.3)
Therefore, to "see reality," the first metaphor that we use is the Monastery. It is about living the attitude of seeking God that is present in reality. It is the living God who, from the reality, he is talking, saying something to us. You must be attentive, listen and watch. Only he who knows God can find the seeds of the Word existing within this reality, to understand the ultimate meaning of everything and bear witness and proclaim that God is present.
The second metaphor to which we refer is that of the Centre. It's about being very attentive to reality. What is happening and what is coming. Is to analyze the concrete reality with all the interventions carried out by the individual. Understand the heart of the person behind this reality. Understand everything that is good and what is wrong. The causes and consequences. Is that the reality from which God speaks to transform and live the covenant with Him and with others. Metaphor
Monastery.
Clearly now speaking of "Monastery" We are not suggesting that all the faithful we go to a convent to devote to the contemplative life. But we are expressing the need for a contemplative mood. Attitude to all and there must be at all times but in these times when we enter a new era has a special connotation and urgency. It is necessary to bear in mind that God has not abandoned us or forsake us ever.
often make comments about the speed of change today. It has even been noticed much that is not simply a "time of change", but something much deeper. This is a "change of time." In addition, we have noticed that the speed of change will accelerate every day. Thinking makes us dizzy but it is something against which we must know how to act, is within that speed where we need to learn to discover the God of life in Christ calls us to have life in abundance.
As Christians we must always follow the criteria that arise from faith. These criteria are easy to understand, in a way, in a static world. The received by inheritance. They pass from generation to generation. From childhood we learn the criteria that must be maintained in life to go in following the Lord. But the situation is complicated to the extent that the world is no longer static and dynamic enters a change in the criteria of yesterday no longer apply today. However, we know that what gives meaning to our lives, God who in Christ makes us visible, no change. He is the same yesterday, today and forever, walking us, inspires and cares.
Consequently, the challenge is to discover the God who is present in reality, "is at the door and knocks" (cf. Rev. 3, 20). It requires looking at the new realities through the eyes of faith, but the problem is that each faith has acculturated and can not judge the new culture from the culture that is spent, but from the faith. Extremely difficult task. This is where you need a very special attitude of contemplation in which we need each other as teachers and learners starting from the proper biblical reading and reflection.
View new culture with the molds and paradigms of ancient culture is not what concerns us as Christians. That is not the attitude of faith itself. You need to discern that new, what springs to see everything that's in it for good, true, beautiful ..... Everything is positive that comes from God and God is oriented. Do not accept and condemn all, it means not listening to God.
God is the same, but the language we speak is different. Not wanting to hear "all languages" can carry not hearing "the wonders of God" (cf. Acts. 2.11). Filled with the Holy Spirit that we are giving, to be led by Him, makes us understand and speak all languages. But this needs to be docile to God who speaks. You must be constantly seeking the Lord and listen. This contemplative attitude is what puts us in the Monastery of our metaphor.
These changes in language, that is, change of mentality and culture, we are living today in a rapid succession as we have said. This baffles us. But if we can figure out how this reality lived by the Church from the beginning. We as the Church of the Hebrew people out and into the world of the Gentiles. The change is very abrupt. We see the early Church in the Greek culture and Roman culture in Egypt, in Asia, in Europe. We see Paul and the Apostles from one place to another. The changes were large and every situation known to discover the presence of God in Christ and Savior.
This is the special effort required today contemplative. To achieve this we need to help each other and purify our gaze with a growing faith. The God who is above all, the transcendent God is also God in the most intimate of all things, God, immanent is encouraging life and history. Anyone with a believing heart and listen to God who speaks is not afraid to face reality. Full of hope from faith will live inside the reality discovering the seeds of the Word.
Metaphor Observatory is well known that new technologies in the field of social communication are of utmost importance in regard to the new culture being created. But the "technological revolution" includes many other technologies whose effects are not minor. The technology of genetic engineering, robots and all that means industrial automation, etc.. etc. we can not set them aside. This is the world of "new technologies" with which you are creating a new way of living and is leaving large sectors of humanity as being excluded from this coexistence.
Monastery In the metaphor we have referred to God, listening to the permanent. But here we refer to the attitude of sharing life in the changing reality of man. The Church needs to hear God at all times and at the same time, it must enter into the reality of man. The Church must make visible all the time how you can live the covenant with God and with men.
When we referred to the monastery, we put our attention on the wonders of God can be proclaimed in all languages, but now we fix our attention on these languages in order to discover the capabilities they have to proclaim the wonders of God.
When we speak now from the world of new technologies do not just mean the scientific and technical knowledge of all these technologies, we refer primarily to the knowledge of what the use of these technologies is occurring in man and the new paradigms appearing.
need to know what are the influences of that world of technology on the behavior of individuals, human groups and of all humanity. The effects of the heterogeneity of situations. Thousands of questions we ask in each of these fields and we have no answers.
Observatories in the strict sense can be established in many ways in connection with universities or other entities or persons conducting research. But more efforts needed to be an attitude that, according to his means, obtain and develop each person looking at themselves and their surroundings, paying particular attention to what goes in the direction of meeting and inclusion or, by contrast, scatter and exclusion.
believers and people of good will can do a great job in the world to which we refer to the metaphor of the Centre. In a special way of living have the option for the poor. They, according to what is to come, will be barred from the use of technology. The consequences are difficult to estimate at this time. But those who seek inclusion and can set your eyes on this world the poor and try to understand what happens. It will take creative thinking to maintain a permanent, search for ways and viable ways for participation of the poor. It is an aspect in which the urgency of helping us see this reality becomes urgent.
2 .- JUDGE
The second step of the process is "judge" with great discernment to see everything that is good, true and beautiful and to distinguish it from everything that is not so. Since reality is so complex with evidence of the need to help each other to jointly develop critical thinking we need. The dialogue we have to do for this step enables us to live a truly mutual pedagogical approach, while learning to complement our vision.
The "judge" we have to do according to the criteria of the Gospel directs us to the Kingdom where we will live in full communion so it carries the sense of "inclusion, paying special attention to the" excluded. "
Thus, for we believe we have now to look on the face of Christ. It is with that look as we have the criteria for judging both the reality of the marginalized, the suffering faces of Christ, as their call for inclusion in the fraternal coexistence with its final projection in the Kingdom.
With clarity we indicated Aparecida: "In the face of Jesus Christ, dead and risen for our sins and abused by Father glorified, in the face suffering and glory (cf. NMI 25, 26), we can see with the eyes of faith humiliated face many men and women of our peoples while his vocation to freedom of the sons of God, the full realization of their personal dignity and brotherhood among all. The Church is to serve all human beings, sons and daughters of God "(A 32)
Metaphor of the Sword
When referring to" the sword "we are using a biblical image that refers to the Word of God. "Certainly, the Word is alive God and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword. Penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow, it judges the thoughts and feelings of the heart. No creature is invisible to her, everything is naked before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account "(Hbr. 4, 12-13).
Our insight is to have as a key reference to the Word of God, not our personal taste or interest. Is double-edged sword. Not only to judge external reality, but also the inner reality, which is in the depths of our hearts. Everything we see as the truth as it is in the eyes of God, without deceit.
means knowing the Word of God has been understood by the Church through the centuries. Appears here again the need to help, not only by the help we can provide the students of the Word of God, but also the feelings of the simple are led by the Holy Spirit.
Basic Ecclesial Communities and other meetings being held around the Word of God are living schools where the exchange of each other in openness to what God says is a training firm to take the real criteria for inclusion of the excluded.
is always possible that the opinion of the community from falling into error. For this reason, maintaining docility to the Holy Spirit, be sought verification with the trial of the Church.
are many times hard to tell things by their name, but you need to know to use either the sword with the power of truth penetrates not only the immediate tangible reality, but also the causes and circumstances that explain this reality.
Given what appears to falsehood, injustice and evil, the trial will address complaints and what is discovered as a good, true and beautiful the trial will be approved that will result in ad. It will be good news, reflecting, albeit distant, of the Good News of the Kingdom. Dawn
Metaphor is of the light arriving to a new day. The trial can not stay in the qualification or disqualification of reality, it is necessary to maintain a creative trial raises valid proposals consistent with justice and the good that presents the Word of God.
must judge the openings that appear in reality towards the Kingdom. The trial that makes us understand the seeds of the Word and presents proposals on them to help the seeds germinate and develop these outbreaks.
is necessary that along with the whistle blower trial of the reality of injustice and exclusion from the trial will see Sentinel announcing the new day, presenting proposals you can walk to the transformation of the darkness of the night into the new day, inclusion for all to be brothers again.
creative thinking is proposed that each person, personally and in groups, can perform in your environment without standing still at the immensity and power of darkness. Certainly we should not strive to do what is impossible, but it can not give justification for failing to do what is possible, however little it may seem.
God asks us to do the impossible, but we demand an accounting of what, being possible, we have left undone. We demand an accounting of love and commitment we have given, or have failed to give what He asks us, however small whatever.
3 .- ACT
The third step of the process is "act." Not enough to have good diagnostic and good proposals that will guarantee us good speeches. It is necessary to implement them. It is very easy to say that we are all brothers, but it is not enough, we must live as brothers.
For the development of this part we will use the metaphor of the Synod and the metaphor of birth.
Using the metaphor of the Synod does not refer to the Synod as a legal assembly, but in its broadest sense. This is the way that together we must discover and together we must go. The Church is a people who walk around the world to the full life and final Kingdom.
And Birth metaphor we mean the effort new life that is born. But speaking of labor we are referring to the "Birth of the Slave", with very clear that the Slave is the vast portion of poor and excluded in our environments are not part of our society. But noting also that this part is not the result of an outrageous violation of the slave, but the fruit of a faithful marriage and her final.
Christians formed the brotherhood of disciples who follow Christ together, noticing that he always makes us live the preferential option for the poor is implicit our faith in Christ which leads us to act in the permanent service to the poor. Aparecida
tells us clearly: "If this option is implicit in the Christological faith, Christians as disciples and missionaries are called to contemplate the suffering faces of our brothers, the face of Christ who calls us to serve them: "The suffering faces of the poor are suffering faces of Christ" (SD 178). They questioning the core of the work of the Church, the pastoral and our Christian attitudes. All you have to do with Christ has to do with the poor and all claims related to poor Jesus Christ: "As they did one of these my brethren, you did for me "(Mt 25, 40). John Paul II stressed that this biblical text "illuminates the mystery of Christ" (NMI 49). For in Christ the great became small, the strong became weak, the rich became poor "(A 393) Metaphor
Synod.
The word "synod" comes from the Greek could be translated as "concaminantes" means having the same path, or travel together. Fellow travelers. From earliest times the Church has called for the holding of special meetings to find and point the way to be followed. The sense the Church of the term "synod" is expressed in the Code of Canon Law (can, 342 and 460), and is always a meeting convened to find ways forward.
When we now speak of the metaphor of the Synod, we are referring to the attitude of hikers with whom we have to follow the Lord in the midst of concrete reality and the attitude of communion and fraternity own share of those who follow the Lord . It is, therefore, to learn to relate to continue together the way of the Lord that we have to go. It is the attitude not only of being members of a Village in an attitude of communion and participation, but also proceeding with the courage and walkers. God's people in motion.
Synod In metaphor, what we say is that expressed in the previous metaphors we have to do all together, helping each other, eliminating dispersing individuals, trying to influence society and its structures in order to be processed according to the direction United, the center of full inclusion.
Each member of the Church, from where you are, has something to do. Nobody can supply you and it is from their own reality that has to be faithful to the Lord who calls you.
But this function each performs as a church within a body and for good of the whole body. The Body of Christ. Doctrine is very clearly explained at the beginning of the Church (cf. 1 Cor. 12, 12 ff.) It is the participation of all members in the living communion of the Body, the Church.
corresponds to the hierarchy of the Church the latest insight on faithfulness to the Lord and their vital dynamism. But this does not mean that efforts to the way forward have to come from the Hierarchy. Everyone should know the best way possible their own reality, and since that actually take initiatives through the eyes of faith and the creativity of love should be taken into communion with the Church.
Walker's attitude brings breaking with the amenities of the facility. The set takes on a static posture. The Christian and the whole Church must always be running.
Church, we know, while living in this world is a pilgrim. Always be tempted to settle. It's easy to get carried away by illusions that this world and fall into the temptation to compromise with apparent and false values. And the Lord warned us about the need to watch and pray (cf. Mt 26, 41). But if the Church is a pilgrim in nature, today this reality acquires a special characteristic in the rate of change in our reality.
Finally we note that, while it is true that members of the Church, we must continue our journey in communion with the Church, however, we find an alliance with all in all they have true and good. God acts in all, not just those who are inside the Church. In the field of science and other fields of life are great contributions to the path of life we have to follow. To live the metaphor of the Synod must walk with them as the proper place, gathering their input, even from people who have no faith and always have to ensure that each person acts freely as protagonists of their own way.
Childbirth Metaphor.
already been noted that the party to which we refer Childbirth is the slave as a result of a true and final marriage with her, not as a result of a new marriage is rape vexatious that frees the slave and the carrier makes a new life that makes visible that of Isaiah: " Look at doing something new, now it springs forth, do not you notice? (Is. 43, 19).
We also said that the slave is the huge portion of the excluded part of society. Are all that remain below the table of life and are "exploited" and abused by the same dominant mood enhanced by the power of neoliberal economics which we live.
cries are heard calling for a better world in the belief "another world is possible." Everywhere are found accompanying sincere efforts for the poor not only by respecting their role, but to stimulate. It is true that sometimes you have to act as a voice for the voiceless, but they must be careful not to take away the voice of anyone, but to create the conditions for their voice heard.
can easily be seen that this special look at the poor does not mean ignore the rich. On the contrary, it is a universal option. This is an urgent call to the rich and powerful to experience the marriage alliance with the slave, the poor. With equal dignity, giving freedom to the slave.
The Church since birth has felt called to live this marriage with the poor, but it has also been tempted by power, but through the centuries, have always loud voices and testimonies appeared active and vigorous that have made palpable the ongoing call the Church to live this marriage with the slave.
The church community can help a lot to be heard the voice of the poor that cry out for their dignity, truth and fairness. This is not to abandon the powerful, on the contrary, if this is done in faithfulness to the Lord is to sound the call, gentle but strong, the Lord, remembering the duty as stewards of the assets that were created by Him as a gift for everyone. It's called the powerful to use their power as a service for the common good, the good of all and that, therefore, should be placed primarily serve those without property. Serving authentic and permanent solidarity.
marriage who lives with the slave will be visible to the public examples of rich and powerful who sincerely sympathize with the poor and examples of poor people with dignity and really know how to maintain their prominence in search of what is good for everyone. These examples are those who do see that "something new is born." It is part of the Slave. Bibliography

Are all that remain below the table of life and are "exploited" and abused by the same dominant mood enhanced by the power of neoliberal economics which we live.

marriage who lives with the slave will be visible to the public examples of rich and powerful who sincerely sympathize with the poor and examples of poor people with dignity and really know how to maintain their prominence in search of what is good for everyone. These examples are those who do see that "something new is born." It is part of the Slave. Bibliography

television image from television's prehistory begins, strictly speaking, the most fundamental technical breakthroughs that made possible the transmission distance of the moving image.
was in July 1928 from the experimental station W3XK of Washington, the U.S. began Jenkins primarily to transmit scanned images of films with some regularity and with a definition of 48 lines. And since the 50's, television has become the communication medium par excellence.
television was not born as a response to any immediate need and unavoidable. When the man proposed to transmit images to remote, wired or wireless, I thought of a massive and indiscriminate reception, but in a public service that would allow only the verification of documents, send drawings or pictures necessary for technical work or burocráticos.Pero simplifying paperwork, once created the necessary technical support for transmission moving images, some scientists realized that television could repeat the success of the radio years ago.
On television and in cinema is a combination of the image with the word. The nature of this combination of messages is different from that given printed material. In any case, it was always a combination within the meaning of complementarity between image and word. Film and television this balance is upset in favor of a growing dominance or prominence of the image. The language is a simple factor of the image. We are, with a new instrument of communication that we know to understand the messages through he is us.
language television, the image, figurative language, but not conceptual. Appeals to the senses, but is not there a close relationship with high mental activity. Contrary to what happens with verbal language.

The image culture
The changing times we are experiencing is framed in a culture where the role of the image has taken piping surprising, to be called "image culture" at present, given in a point, so looking through a screen, and from there learn, understand, solve and lived reality.
Ahead of its time, Paul VI warned in his Apostolic Exhortation Evangelii Nuntiandi: "We know the ideas of many psychologists and sociologists who say that modern man has passed beyond the civilization of the word, ineffective and useless these days, today he lives in the civilization of the image. (...) (But all this) should not diminish the enduring value of the word, not to lose confidence in it. The word remains ever relevant, especially when accompanied by the power of God "(n.42).
We can not oppose the image of the word, because in fact the two are harmonized in a new discourse that points to the emotional.
addition, the image is itself a very high value that we recognize. Ever since God became man in Christ, the image may be speaker of both the Incarnation and the Transcendence of God. Christ is "the visible image of the invisible God" (Col 1.15).
a theology of communication has to take into account this dimension that helps to assess the visual from the divine perspective and deepen the depth of expression captured by the image visible. Evangelization think committed a serious analysis of the culture and take their values to coat the wisdom of God that gives the true sense of the things that man lives, is amazed, enjoy, create or perfect. The denunciation of evil, this century, it encourages a commitment to transformation of reality, from God and His Truth.
By being aware of visual stimuli of television, which are more effective than visual and auditory alone, we find in them an important tool when communicating the Gospel. We can not let this sign of Providence, and use this means in our power, to explain to people today the message of the Gospel is always new.
Television, which enters the home, daily life becomes part of the cluster of habits of any man of our time, is a more than fair to make the Word of God reaches the hearts of viewers and give reasons for their existence. Faced with a content able to satisfy the craving that man has always truth, goodness and beauty, happiness and sense, television is an ideal instrument for making a call humanizing and liberating.
is no doubt that television is an effective source in creating and shaping attitudes in children and young people especially at a young age, are under their influence without having other information. It uses it to satisfy needs of distraction, reduce tension and as a means to obtain information. A full schedule of values, from the creative and ingenious, can entertain educating and reporting. This is the challenge we face Catholic communicators to media that we use with greater confidence, less prejudiced, more presence and less tyranny. One way that God provides us to make their voices heard and show your face to a world thirsty for it vague.
No one can consider itself immune to the degrading effects of pornography and violence or safe from erosion caused by those acting under their influence. Children and youth are particularly vulnerable and likely to be victims. Pornography and sadistic violence despised sexuality, corrode human relationships, exploit individuals -Especially women and children, undermine marriage and family life, foster antisocial attitudes and weaken the moral fiber of society.
We do need to purify our gaze. The image culture has saturated our vision. There's nothing new or unknown to watch. Everything is exposed to view unfiltered and without reservations, without shame and without limit. We naively to look at everything not hurt us, and yet avoid many spiritual ills if we knew to look away in time. Not everything we see makes us okay. Moreover, if we note that the visual saturation that produces our culture is saturated images of violence: the violence of pornography and the same sadistic violence and disturb us go blind. Look but not see. That is when the eye becomes shallow and shallow, up to not feel the full meaning of things, events, ourselves and others. The reality seems to be noticed only by the small screen, and only fragments of reality induced by special interests, which do not articulate all the springs that form the complex reality we live.

images and evangelism
is this reality and this culture that we have to evangelize. But evangelism does not begin with us. Therefore, we must learn from the rich tradition of the Church, over the centuries has been known to use elements of the culture to proclaim the Gospel.
The images were part of evangelization, and in the early Christian communities, who represented the Saviour of the world with images of the Good Shepherd. Later appear the Paschal Lamb and other icons representing the life of Christ. The images have been provided a means to publicize and spread the faith in Christ and the veneration and love for the Blessed Virgin and the Saints. Witness to this are the catacombs where you can still images taken by the early Christians. These images bear witness to their faith and the use of images. Today the image
has reached a surprising sophistication through the media. Then we must recognize that we have higher quality items that our ancestors to evangelize. Then we can not waste this blessed time, and these effective tools at our disposal. And the time is now. Today, as in the early days of the Christian era, the image must be a vehicle of transmission of faith and helps the knowledge of the truth of God. Before Jesus
images often represented idols, were used for idolatry. In the fullness of time, the true God would become incarnate and thus have a human image. Jesus Christ is the visible image of the Father.
tells us the Catechism: "As the Word became flesh by assuming a true humanity, the body of Christ was limited (cf. cc. Lateran in 649: DS 504). So you can" paint "the human face of Jesus ( Ga 3.2). In the Seventh Ecumenical Council (CC of Nicea II, in 787: DS 600-603) the Church recognized the legitimate representation in sacred images "(476).
It seems that the third-century Christian church, albeit in a very early stage, using the iconography with a catechetical purpose to outline the true path that can lead to eternal bliss.
In a hypothetical second stage, the Church, through the iconography emphasizes the divine protection and sharing in the Eucharist as a way to ensure the Christian's salvation. Here come full paradigms of Salvation through the same growth for the faithful assume all a message of hope.
Finally, through the iconography of further reiterates that, thanks to the Passion and Resurrection of Christ, man can attain eternal bliss.
Today in the culture of the image, these elements give us strength and light to take the new evangelization creatively put at the service of the Gospel of persuasive, attractive and appealing visual image from the infinite multiplicity of forms and colors that technology today enables us and proposes.
The language of beauty
course not just use the means at our disposal. We use them well. The media, for example, require that conveys an aesthetic beauty. The Church has always been a promoter of real art. Pope John Paul II has repeatedly expressed his invitation to return to art in the context of faith, and spoke of a "nostalgia for the beauty" in men today. Therefore, beauty is not a superfluous or peripheral aspect of life. The beauty comes from God and leads us to God.
The youth of today feel a special attraction to beauty, image is, be it music or both. Helps to bring the beautiful people, and is a feature of the celebration and festivity. It is harmony, proportion, order. Everything beautiful is sharing the beauty of God. Therefore, the contemplation of beauty leads us to admire God, author and model of all beauty. The symbolism and language of forms and harmonious colors opens us to higher values, transcendent. The aesthetic life gives a more human and hopeful. "This world we live needs beauty in order not to sink into despair. Beauty, like truth, is he who sees the joy in the hearts of men, is that precious fruit which resists erosion of time, which unites generations and makes them in admiration "(The message from the Council to the artists).
We must recover in evangelizing the value of aesthetics in the service of beauty as the Absolute communication. Especially this is a challenge to a world where concerns about the appearance and the obsession with the figure, are topics that today many young people move to pursue the image of advertising models, far from the model it is possible arrive. They are the media which has greatly helped create a false image of beauty today, a style that does not correspond to reality.
Current fees Beauty, require unrealistic physical standards, which often help to create insecurity and psychological problems in young people, such as anorexia and bulimia.
Catholic communicators must point to an aesthetic that, while respecting the style of each entity and the key cultural characteristics of each country or region, also point to the supernatural, where reality is seen through the eyes of hope. It's time to push our creativity to achieve a real new aesthetic, imbued human and Christian values.
We must be able to translate the rich content of faith to languages such as multimedia clips, interactive video games and humanizing, stories, aid educational and interactive pages and more. All this, of course, but the message is leaner, compromising the deposit of faith. True evangelism enriches cultures, helping them to overcome weak points or even inhuman in them, and communicating to their legitimate values the fullness of Christ. (Cf. CT 53).

Response image culture
is true that the predominant use of the images tends to cancel the development of language, and its consequence is to reduce or cancel the analytical capacity of abstract thought. Is the specified threshold and one of the issues presented as challenges of the culture of the image. Today we do not understand any process of training or skill transfer or messages without taking into account the visual. And is that the person is not only brain, and the image and sound points to various organs and faculties of human beings to make fuller communication and relationship between sender and receiver. But it is neither naive nor without risk. Often the process of learning from television, transmission of customs and fashions, is designed for professionals in the service of rating or sponsors, presenting things in a much more entertaining than the teacher or professor, and above all things, not demand anything or take exam later.
of these aspects have to be aware. It is up to authorities, institutions and above all parents take responsibility about controlling your children watch, promoting dialogue and exchange of views against indiscriminate cataract images that saturate the imagination and thought. You need an exercise of critical versus what you see, and analysis of the proposals that we receive through the media. So we can clarify their content, reinforce certain aspects of education, moral or social and counteract negative aspects.
The task of evangelization can not ignore the fact that part of the culture to which we communicate the Gospel. At the same time used the wealth of images to make known God's truth and lead the people today to meet with him, be formed in that capacity critical of everything that is received daily. It is a way to help the human growth of man and woman of this time they will live in a time of great technological advances along with a great crisis of values. Clarity and confusion seem to blend into a path without direction or guidance. As a whole, is thought by others, which exerts a powerful influence on behavior, a reality that is disabling in thinking and indulging the senses that the critical void in a relentless pursuit of the pleasurable. It ignores the good for the atmosphere. It is after easy setting aside the important.
Basically, every human heart is hungry for a look of love, who knows from the interior and response. Need to be watched by a face in front of our eyes and give us clarity in the way of truth fulfilling occurrence. Each heart is still looking to see a reality that transcends, which is reflected in the sanctity of an image that is a mirror. Follows the man walking time, longing for an eternal vision that makes you see and experience what really quench it, which remains beyond the projected time and what a joyous life of contemplation that, similar to that of lovers. That vision will
. And it is the hope where the wait, because the eye still did not see what God has prepared for those he loves. One day our eyes will see the face of the living God to embrace us in love, and with the tenderness of his gaze, and the brightness of his face, and most will not want to contemplate, and then, the anxieties and deepest Quereres human existence, will find in this timeless vision, wholeness that both were looking for while we wandered, among lights and shadows, as pilgrims on earth, looking for our sky .-

Thank You Messages Chinese
contemplative space in radio production
Radio is the medium that has not gone before the explosion audiovisual media, among other things, to establish a special communication with the listener: a one to one that builds trust and intimacy. The friendship and the naturalness of the radio hardly seen in other media. The proximity of a friendly voice has filled throughout history many solitudes and absences. It was the company of many men and women and has established the magic sound from a close relationship between sender and receiver, making it easy and accessible dialogue intimate, personal and direct, despite the limits of technological mediation.
For the communicator, this innate spontaneity must not mean unplanned improvisation when communicating, but will require pre-preparation time, which we called: radio production. A good radio production will require production of content, including all that is required to issue any space. Realising interviews, contact with respondents, seek documents for reports, prepare the songs, select sound effects ... are part of the production task. According to the size of the product at issue, this process will be more or less complex.
The time spent in production will be in the results reached in the air. Moreover, without the preparation time would be virtually Emission impossible for many of the products that make the programming of the different radio stations. If we are attentive to listen to radio, we can easily perceive how this production lacked emission time, dedication, enthusiasm, teamwork, reflection, shared experiences, particular search of the best to deliver ...
must remember that all this preparatory work is done in the context of personal and group reflection to objectify what it will air. It is time to think what will and will say. Often it will be writing the script radial segments other planning or organization of spaces within the total issue space. Always be an audience to think about who we will go, and what message we want to give. It is the basis of the credibility of the issuer before an audience that will lend the ear and trust in their expression, sharing or disagreeing, but being influenced by the power of the medium. Spending time
production is a sign of responsibility to the wider social responsibility to be in half so influential that condition, in many cases, public opinion, or call into question many times their values or thoughts. Aware of this process, communicators, to produce its programs, live in a reflective process introspective contemplation is planning to take that wealth from the inside to communicate.
Catholic Communication (communication of Christian values and messages) can not dispense with this task that gives meaning and coherence in the exercise of the apostolic mission of evangelization through radio. This process will be experienced as an introspective contemplation tune in to the context and the source of the message to communicate, will come to be known communicator itself that is inside a specific mission, and has, in the medial-world context, an important responsibility and a commitment to God, with himself and with the audience. Is facing the challenge of making a voice that often echoes in the desert. Considered is for the Catholic community, pray. The radio production will then be a teachable by the Master who puts his words into the mouth of his envoys, one may discern between good and evil, between right and best, to ensure product excellence in broadcasting.
Behold the man and woman can know, love and admire. The fruit of contemplation is the joy of the truth known, the well understood and loved and admired beauty. The path of contemplation requires silence, openness to others, listen. Sometimes it's an arduous and difficult path, requiring die, purify, choose. It is a profound relationship personal and fulfilling occurrence and unifies our being in there everyday, because it is the space we live our original vocation of men called to the relationship and union with God. Because communication links us with others. And contemplation is in full communication. It is a moment of contact with something that we in the depths of our being.
For the Catholic community is contemplating gaze of faith fixed on Jesus. "I look at him and he looks at me." This attention to He's resignation to "me." His gaze purifies our heart. The light in the eyes of Jesus illumines the eyes of our heart and teaches us to see everything in the light of his truth and his compassion for all men. Only the mystery of Christ, witnessed and experienced, will answer to the deepest questions of man reveals his own mystery.
"Contemplation is the science of love which is God infused love story that goes along illustrating and falling in love with the soul" (San Juan de la Cruz, N 2,18,5)
All the important work undertaken by pastoral love of God and neighbor, can not be done without a life of contemplation, prayer and study. A Catholic community must provide heeding the word of God before announcing it. Listen to his words is an aspect of contemplation. There will be only their views, the communicator poured into the microphone, if not a spokesman for the word of truth that fell from the lips of Jesus and have the effect of illuminating the lives of men and women of this time, giving the reason for their existence meaning. The truth can not shut up, claiming to be proclaimed on the rooftops.
time radio production process will take its fair value to the extent that it is not limited to a wild search of materials and resources to fill gaps, but in an inner search for meaning to communicate something worthwhile, that builds , build and make life more worthy of those who receive those messages. It will be quiet time and dialogic, wealth deep for communicators, which then enrich the recipients of their communication. The quality of this moment and put the interest to produce a space for communicating values, will depend largely on the "success" of the mission received and the actual response to the vocation of being sent to proclaim the Gospel to all people.
contemplative task of radio production will become more suitable to particular communities to establish the communication situation to perceive spaces without being perceived, to create this world of color is the radio, or what we call the "magic" captivating the radio. Without this generous time, the communicator is empty, not so much of words, but content. You'll enjoy more expressive wealth of radio and its extraordinary potential for exploitation.
inner silence you hear is the heart knows where it germinates and sprouts to the outside word, unless you want to be empty. Every event, every message, every story, each song will require reflection and a look at the light of truth to know when and how it will be optimal your broadcasting. It will be the wisdom gained in prayerful contemplation, which will effectively human speech, which gives content to the divine word, pierce the middle, to give effect to this communication vivid and crisp, rich and rewarding, that doeth good and more good to the receiver that receives and welcome.
Today we live a devaluation of the word. This is due more to their facility, in rising inflation. Manipulate with it and turn it into a mere nominalism. We can therefore say that dialogue can only be silent who knows. It teaches us that silence to think before speaking, and we have to listen and dialogue necessary to reach agreement with the partner enriching.
In a medium par excellence sound like the radio, speaking of silence may seem incongruous. However, the silence is part of radio language, is able to express, tell, describe ... The silence over the radio when a total absence of sound, ie when no voice, no music or sound effects, although its true meaning can only be captured from the relationship the store with no sound the elements that precede or to those that follow it.
Thus, on the radio there are many situations where we can make use of silence, for example to represent the emotional state of a person who chooses to stop intervening in a dialogue, or to stimulate thinking when, before a controversial issue , the communicator performs a silent inviting listeners to think about it. It is possible to evaluate the design space on the radio when was experienced personal experience the richness of silence and has grown in it.
The success of missionary work in radio, the effectiveness of evangelization through the media so close and persuasive, begins with the preparation time, with that personal and group reflective space, this time of silence and prayer , which is the radio production. It is the contemplative space communicator, who brings out of his own good and bad, selecting and managing gifts and talents to serve the hearing. Communicates well with the consciousness of being faced with increasingly demanding listeners and always in need of a word deep, wise, confident, real and warm. Word showing new horizons, and teach the true meaning of life, life that is played in the middle of a complex reality, and that demands to be seen with new eyes, taking on the challenges of today with hope and commitments to make it new. -
Radio is the medium that has not gone before the explosion audiovisual media, among other things, to establish a special communication with the listener: a one to one that builds trust and intimacy.
